# Ask the Email Agent securely

> Generate a private incoming address, verify an analysis reply, and revoke a leaked address.

The Email Agent answers questions about your workspace over email. It is read-only: email cannot pause ads, change budgets, or run other write tools. Its incoming address is a credential. Anyone who knows it can request workspace analysis, so share it only with people or agents you intend to authorize.

## Create and verify the address

1. Open **Settings → Telegram**, then find the separate **Email Agent** panel on that page.
2. Choose **Generate email address** and copy the private address shown. Keep it out of public documents, screenshots, and support messages.
3. Send a narrowly scoped first question to that address. For example: “Summarize Meta performance for \[account name and ID] for \[dates]. State the currency, reporting period, and any missing-data warning.”
4. Inspect the analysis reply. Check which account it read, the reporting period, and the evidence rather than treating a delivered reply as proof that every source is connected.

Use normal [reporting checks](/intelligence/metrics) before sharing the result. The Email Agent is a way to read workspace information, not a substitute for account selection or provider access.

## Treat the address as the key

The sender's **From** address is not an authorized-sender identity or an allowlist. Possession of the incoming address grants the read access described by the panel. A familiar-looking sender does not make sharing the address safe, and read-only access can still expose private account analysis.

If it leaks, choose **Regenerate** and confirm. The old address stops working immediately; update saved contacts, assistants, and other approved senders with the new one. Do not send the old or new address to support as evidence.

## Disable or recover

Use **Disable** to stop the current address. To turn it back on, generate a fresh address. A disabled or regenerated address is a different issue from a failed Meta connection.

If no reply arrives, check that you used the current active address and that the workspace has the intended account access. Inspect your email filters and any reported plan or connection error. For an unresolved issue, [contact support](/help/contact) with the time and a redacted description of the question; preserve the address's secrecy.
