# Connect and check Microsoft Ads

> Authorize an advertising account, select it, and resolve reporting availability.

Microsoft Ads connection is conditional on availability in your workspace. Owners and media buyers can connect and select an account; only the owner can disconnect. This workspace selection is separate from the selected Meta account.

## Connect and select

1. Open [Settings → Connections → Microsoft Ads](https://app.autoady.io/settings?tab=microsoft-ads).
2. Choose **Connect Microsoft Ads** when offered, sign in with the intended Microsoft identity, and grant access to the advertising accounts you need.
3. On return, choose the correct name and ID in **Microsoft Ads account**. Wait for it to save and confirm the same selection remains after reloading the panel.
4. Read any availability warning before requesting a report. A connected identity can still have reporting unavailable.

There is currently no separate Microsoft Ads report page in AutoAdy. When reporting is available, ask [Agent](/agent/chat) to read the selected Microsoft Ads account's report. Check the returned account, period, currency, and freshness. This is a read-only integration; connection does not enable campaign publishing or budget changes. Viewers use the workspace's selected account.

## Recover a connection

| What you see | Action |
| - | - |
| Connection unavailable; no Connect button | Ask [support](/help/contact) about Microsoft Ads availability. |
| No accounts granted | Reconnect and grant at least one advertising account. |
| Intended account absent | Check access for the Microsoft identity used during authorization; reconnect with the right identity. |
| Connected, but reporting cannot run | Contact support with the displayed warning. Repeated sign-in does not activate reporting. |
| Authorization expired or repeated provider error | Reconnect, reselect the account, and retry the read. |
| A stale report is returned | Use its timestamp as the age of the data; retry the report later. |

If an account selection fails, reload this panel before continuing and use the account actually saved. Keep its ID and the displayed error code when contacting support.

## Disconnect

As the owner, choose **Disconnect** in the Microsoft Ads panel. This removes AutoAdy's workspace connection without deleting Microsoft accounts or changing campaigns. Reconnecting requires provider authorization and account selection again. Provider-side revocation is managed in Microsoft's own account controls.
