# Approve a brief and generate a review package

> Tie facts to eligible evidence, review the saved version, and recover an interrupted generation.

**Studio → Briefs** creates a saved creative brief and a package for human review. You need the selected account's eligible evidence observation, approved offer, and approved claim records. If those records are absent, this workflow cannot yet be completed for that account; ask [support](/help/contact) about the displayed gap rather than inventing an approval step in Intelligence.

## Save the evidence-based brief

1. Select the intended Meta account and open **Studio → Briefs**.
2. Review **What is needed before saving** if it appears. Choose an **Evidence observation**, **Approved offer**, and **Approved claim** from the actual records shown.
3. Enter the **Working hypothesis**, **Evidence fact**, **Interpretation**, and **Image direction**. Keep the observed fact separate from your proposed explanation and creative test.
4. Save the brief using its save control. Check the account, evidence reference, version, and status in the summary before reviewing it.

For example, an observed increase in frequency can support a hypothesis about fatigue. It does not prove that fatigue caused a cost change; the brief should preserve that distinction.

## Approve and generate

Read the saved brief's source and claim lineage, then choose **Approve brief** for that exact version. Select **Image** or **Video fallback** and choose **Start generation**. A fallback is not a promise that a finished video will be produced.

When **Package created** appears, inspect **Generated assets** and open each asset's review details. Check the brief version and evidence it came from, its claims, and its actual media. This approval and generation flow records review work; it does not publish or change ads in Meta.

## Handle edits or an interruption

Editing a saved brief makes that version ineligible for approval or generation until you save a new version. The product shows this state explicitly; approving an earlier version does not approve later unsaved edits.

Use **Resume interrupted run** only for the same brief version and media type. If the saved run belongs to another version, start the appropriate new generation instead. Preserve the run reference and inspect any existing artifacts before retrying. Next: [inspect Studio assets](/creative/studio) or [upload reviewed ads](/creative/uploads).
