Website access is distinct from access to a Meta account. A shared website can have an owner, editor, or viewer. Owners and editors manage collection and credentials; a viewer sees read-only setup. Only the website owner can delete the website and its collected data.

Check or export a report

Open Websites, select the site, then check the reporting period and environment. Choose Export CSV to download the current report selection. The filename identifies the environment and number of days. Check those values before comparing it with a provider report or sending it to a client. If a website is missing, ask the workspace owner to inspect your website grant. Creating a client workspace or inviting someone does not automatically grant every website. A failed export is not an empty report; preserve the error and retry the existing selection.

Pause collection

In Install & settings → Website controls, choose Pause collection. Reload and confirm the paused state. Resume collection restores collection for the site; verify a new eligible event afterward. Collection and destination forwarding have separate controls. Pausing a destination does not prove collection stopped, and pausing collection does not erase historical data. Inspect the relevant delivery state as well when you are stopping an integration.

Rotate a server key

Choose Rotate server key only when you can immediately update its backend consumers. Review the warning, then choose Generate replacement. The old key stops working immediately and the replacement is shown once. Save it securely, update the backend, then choose I saved it and verify a new authenticated server outcome. If you lose the replacement, generate another rather than expecting it to be displayed again. Remove keys from screenshots, logs shared with others, and support requests.

Delete only when intended

The owner can choose Delete website and complete its domain confirmation. Read the data-deletion warning and inspect dependent tracking and reporting before confirming. Deletion is separate from a pause and removes collected data; do not use it as a routine connection retry. Next: verify installation, configure goals, or contact support.
