Inspect a period
- Open Meta Ads and confirm the selected account in the sidebar.
- On Overview, choose a reporting period. The quick choices include Today, 7 days, 14 days, and 30 days; use the date control for the range you need.
- Open Reporting details. Check dates, account timezone, currency, when data was last fetched, attribution settings, and completeness warnings.
- Choose Campaigns, Ad sets, or Ads. Search for the entity you need and inspect its rows. Use status filters such as All, Active, and Paused to understand what is included.
- Open an ad’s preview to inspect its creative and context. Adjust columns when you need additional supported metrics.
Interpret the rows
Performance is measured for the selected period. The budget and delivery controls describe the entity’s current configuration; changing a reporting period does not change its budget. An entity’s own on/off switch is different from its effective delivery state. A configured-active ad can still be prevented from delivering by its parent, review status, or another provider condition. See Review delivery changes. Results refers to the configured Meta event represented by the report. A lead, purchase, and another objective result are different outcomes. Read metric definitions before ranking rows by cost per result.Confirm your comparison
Use the same account, dates, timezone, attribution, result definition, and currency when comparing with Meta Ads Manager. Check completeness warnings before using the total as a complete account result. If the table looks wrong
- No rows: clear search and status filters, check the period, and confirm account access.
- Refresh failed: the table can keep the last successful data. Read its warning and retry; retained rows do not prove a successful new fetch.
- Budget looks old: use Refresh to request current metadata. A confirmed-budget message can be waiting for Meta’s current read-back.
