Before you begin
You need management access to the selected Meta account. Client Viewers and read-only accounts cannot apply changes. Read the entity’s own configured status alongside its effective delivery status.Pause or resume
- Open Meta Ads → Campaigns, Ad sets, or Ads.
- Confirm the account and table level. Select the entities you want to change. Show selected helps you review only that selection.
- Choose Pause or Launch / resume. A row’s Pause or Enable shortcut also opens a review of that change.
- In the review dialog, check the account, names, IDs, and intended action for every entity.
- Choose Confirm changes only after the list is correct. Wait for the per-entity result.
- When every intended change is confirmed, choose Done and refresh the table to inspect current delivery.
What success means
Confirmed means the requested change was confirmed for that entity. A mixed result requires inspection of each row; one confirmed change does not imply the whole selection succeeded. Resuming an ad changes its configured switch. It does not guarantee immediate impressions: its campaign or ad set may remain paused, Meta may be reviewing it, or another delivery condition may apply. Check the effective delivery state and, where needed, Meta Ads Manager.Resolve incomplete changes
If a row shows an error, read that row’s message. The dialog can offer Retry unresolved changes so confirmed rows do not need another fresh request. Provide confirmation text only when the product specifically requests it. If the outcome is unknown, check the original request and current provider state before starting a new change. Switching accounts or changing a filtered selection should trigger a fresh review of the intended entities.Pausing prevents future delivery after the provider applies it. It cannot reverse spend already incurred. Budget edits and an available Undo also cannot recover that spend.
