The Teams connection sends briefings, alerts, and scheduled-task results to a channel. It uses an incoming webhook; approval decisions still happen in AutoAdy. You need permission to create a webhook for the intended Teams channel and access to the connection setting.

Connect the channel

  1. In Teams, open the intended channel and use its Workflows or Connectors controls to obtain an incoming webhook URL that can receive the required cards. Your organization’s Teams policy may limit these options.
  2. Open Settings → Microsoft Teams in AutoAdy.
  3. Paste the URL into Incoming webhook URL, then choose Connect and send a test. This posts a real test card to that channel before saving the connection.
  4. Check the card in Teams and confirm A Teams channel is connected in AutoAdy. The URL is a credential and is not displayed again after saving.
  5. Under What gets sent, set Deliveries enabled and select the daily briefing, budget and bleeder alerts, weekly report, and rule triggers you want.
Check that the test reached the intended channel, rather than another channel with a similar name. Reload the setting after an edit to confirm the saved switches.

Read an approval request

Teams cards link to the approval screen. Open that link, inspect the selected account and proposed action in AutoAdy, and use the relevant review controls there. An incoming webhook cannot send an approval answer back; receiving a card is not an approval or a confirmed ad change.

Recover or disconnect

If the test fails, preserve the shown error and check the webhook URL, its channel, and your Teams policy. Do not share the URL with support or put it into screenshots. If the connected state is correct but notifications stop, check Deliveries enabled, the message-specific switches, and the underlying task or account. Use Disconnect and confirm it to stop deliveries to this channel. The Keep it action closes the confirmation. Disconnecting does not remove cards already posted or change ad delivery. For a problem that continues after checking the destination, contact support with a redacted error and approximate test time.
