Connect Slack when you want account analysis and notifications in a workspace your team already uses. You need the relevant AutoAdy capability and permission to authorize an app in that Slack workspace. Add to Slack is unavailable when the connection has not been enabled for your workspace.

Connect and check the destination

  1. Open Settings → Slack and choose Add to Slack.
  2. In Slack, review the workspace, requested access, and destination before authorizing AutoAdy. Follow your workspace’s app-approval policy if required.
  3. Return to AutoAdy and check the Connection state.
  4. Choose Test, then look for the actual test message in the intended Slack channel. A success toast is useful, but checking the channel confirms where the message went.
  5. Under Automatic Alerts, choose the Briefing account and the notifications you want: daily briefing, budget alerts, weekly report, and rule triggers.
Use a dated question that names the account for your first analysis. Check the account identity and period in the reply before sharing its numbers with clients.

Understand channel access

Slack starts with Read Only. Full Access changes which channel actions can be requested; it does not bypass your workspace permissions. Ad delivery and budget changes are currently unavailable through this channel, including in Full Access. Make those changes through the normal web delivery review or budget editor. Notifications and approval requests also have separate outcomes. A notification arriving in Slack does not prove that an ad change was approved or applied. Inspect the actual review and receipt for the change.

If a connection or message fails

If Add to Slack is disabled, ask your owner or support about availability rather than retrying authorization. If authorization returns an error, check workspace permissions and the exact displayed message. For a saved connection with no briefing, verify the briefing account, toggles, and delivery health, then send one Test. To stop the integration, choose Disconnect → Yes, disconnect. Chat and notifications stop until you reconnect. Disconnecting Slack does not pause campaigns at the ad platform.
